Made to Measure Corsets

If your measurements are outside the range of the ready to wear chart then you may want me to create a made to measure one for you. Although this is a little more expensive, it is worth every extra penny in the long run. I can keep a record of your measurements should you want to order another one of our creations!

Corset Measurements:

Firstly to take the measurements, put on your favorite most supportive bra and knickers! All measurements will be taken wearing these.

Please read carefully. You will need:

·        A cloth tape measure

·        A bootlace or string

·        A mirror

1. Tie the string around your "Waist" snugly. Try putting your hands on your waist and bend from side to side to see where the string wants to stay. Where the string stays is your natural waist line. Keep the string on as a guide.

2. Take the following measurements pulling the tape measure snugly. Use a mirror and make sure it travels straight across your back for the first 3 measurements. Get a friend to help!! Triple check all measurements.

Use the diagram as a guide:

A) BUST (this measurement for overbust corsets only) - the fullest part (not bra size), across the nipples and around your back.

B) UNDERBUST - measure around, directly under the band of your bra, on your rib cage.

C) WAIST - measure along the string, pulling snugly.

D) HIGH HIP - this should be 5 inches below the Waist string. Make sure it is at 5 inches below as it goes around your back. Use the mirror. If this measurement is too loose, your corset will be too loose.

E) UNDERBUST TO WAIST - use the mirror-don't bend over to look at the tape. Measure up and down from the bottom of your bra to the string carefully.

F) WAIST TO HIGH HIP - Measure from the waist string to were you took your high hip measurement.
